ABOUT COMPANY

“Asylmura” company has been producing traditional bags with traditional Kazakh hand-embroidery since 2008. Ethnic Kazakhs live mainly in Bayan-Ulgii province west Mongolia; in an area located around 1600 km from Ulaanbaatar, the capital and the largest city of Mongolia. Due to being far from the capital it is difficult for both educated and uneducated women to find a job. We established the “Asylmura” company to help women find employment in their home area.

The company currently employs over 22 people in the sewing workshop and office, 40 main embroiderers, and 62 permanent embroiderers. They make 52 types of products specializing in hand bags and domestic decorations.

Also significantly, we have been contributing to national cultural development and working to contribute to decreasing unemployment and alleviating poverty.

Our company’s main purpose is to halt the decline of our cultural heritage for our generation and to produce traditional hand embroideries combined with modern design, complying to the international standards and delighting customers worldwide.
