“Erdenet Carpet” LLC was founded as the first initiative to begin developing Mongolia’s strategically significant light industry based on the agriculture sector’s most renewable resource, wool.

“Erdenet Carpet” has now grown to become a leading manufacturer of the country with more than 1100 employees, and created top national brands using the highly variable qualities of sheep wool, camel wool, yak wool, and cashmere. A wide range of its products are sold on both domestic and foreign markets.

In order to increase profitable activities of “Erdenet Carpet” LLC’s business units and to move to a new development stage, the company was restructured by the shareholders’ decision in April 2014 and established the Natural Textile Group with the following subsidiaries; “Erdenet Carpet” LLC, “Erdenet Tex” LLC, “Erdenet Cashmere” LLC, and “Orkhon Engineering Management” LLC. The global customer tendency is shifting toward products made from natural fiber which has no negative effects on human body, health and nature. For a group that uses animal based natural raw material, it presents us with infinite opportunity as well as evaluation of our joint capability.

Birth of “Natural Textile Group” provided subsidiaries with essential strategy, business development approach, and successful technology investment that advanced products, services, and employees to an international level.
